Tour Eiffel... Lantern

Vintage Jean Nate "Friction pour le bain" (that's so racy!) lamps set the mood bedside these days. They could go anywhere really. I love them so much I could take them with me to work. They make me want to powder my nose, and swoon. In french. I like balancing the potential girliness of such a lamp with the industrial feel of a reproduction bulb sans shade. A groovy vintage polka dot dress got me thinking... could I be the girl in a blue beret and opaque tights? Would people think I was gamine? Should I crop off all my hair? I see Paris everywhere. Above my desk hang three slightly obscene prints that incorporate my favourite postcards from Paris and wallpaper from my grandparent's 1970's Laurentian summer home. They are collaged, hand sketched, digitally manipulated and reproduced by me.
